Small Weekend Wedding

These amazing pictures taken by Kaitlyn McQuid really show how stunning a small wedding can be! The subtle colors of thistle, peach garden roses, queen anne's lace, and lilacs create such romantic feelings. Just thank our Marguerite Gardens romantics, Paul and Martha!

Peonies! & Peonies! Lilies! & Lilies!

For a wee bit of art history we thought you would enjoy a few images of Henri Fantin-Latour! His stunning oil paintings of flowers are so vast that it could take days to enjoy them all. You will not be able to find this particular type of work here in Chicago. Instead, you could appreciate his Portrait of Manet, another oil on canvas at The Art Institute of Chicago.

Feel free to stop in to smell the flowers this great painter relished.

Succulents, Plants for the Vacation People

If you have not seen our succulents selection you should. They are in our indoor green house. You only have to water these plants once a week if they are outside in the sun. If they are indoors you only have to water them once a month! This means you can go on vacation without thinking that you are killing a living thing. There are so many varieties. Keep it simple with one type of plant or mix it up with a bunch of different textures and colors!
