I just discovered Small Stump + Studio Choo, a very cute shop/blog in California. Lately I just can't stop noticing arrangments involving mason jars. I think we need some for the flower shop!

pitchers, peonies, and succulents

One thing we are currently obsessed with at the shop are antique pitchers. They are such a cute alternative to a traditional vase. So lovely when paired with fresh cut blooms!

SUPERRR allium!

I just love these allium! They really are called Super Allium, which is awesome. It is always so exciting to discover different flowers. Whenever we get our flowers in at the shop, we are so amazed at what we get. How crazy are these?

dried hydrangeas & ball jars

This is something we would definitely have in the flower shop. Drying hydrangeas is something we do a lot of. Combining them with antique ball jars is such a fun and simple idea!

We've been using these constantly at the shop lately. I love their texture compared to other hydrangeas, and of course, they are the loveliest shade of lavender.

tulip fever!

Like most floral designers, we here at Marguerite Gardens have many addictions. This spring it was all about tulips. The crazier the better! Now tulip season is wrapping up and we are all a little sad about it. I really think tulips are the happiest flower. They show up right when we're all so sick of winter and think it will never end. They are a true sign that nice weather exists in Chicago!
